THIS is one of the MANY reasons I love authors! I come up with a crazy idea & authors put themselves forward to support me because they are incredibly passionate about what they do & they are first class human beings.....plus they are usually as mad as me so that always helps 🤣 📚

Decided on a relaxing Saturday so starting it off with Don Ameche, Simone Simon. Robert Young and a particular favourite of mine Joan Davis in 'Josette' (1938) The familiar plot of two brothers falling in love with the same girl may be an old one but this is a fun movie 📽

Remembering the fun, gorgeous and talented Paulette Goddard on her birthday....she's one of those leading ladies you always wanted as a best friend or big sister 🎂 ❤️

Closed the final chapter of 'The House of Boleyn' by Tracy Borman. I was putting off finishing it as we all know how this ends & as an Anne Boleyn fan, I'm never ready for her story to end. Excellent retelling of Anne's story where the main character is Hever Castle itself 🏰
