I am pleased to see this critique - as experts we should hold our institutions accountable when they fail! And anyone who has tried to get institutional change in this space knows how challenging this can be - and typically is.

it'll be replaced by a 'transition fund' with less money and zero information, as of yet, about what it will support

On my way home from a week at HVL in Bergen - what wonderful hosts, and a wonderful group of academics and students to engage with!! The teaching, socialising and travel are *exhausting* - but they are rewarding too!! Definitely a place I'm keen to visit again!
