See the full task description and information about how to contribute on our website: mrlbenchmarks.github.io. We look forward to building this dataset together!
After the enthusiasm of the shared task last year, we are running another shared task to create a community-made, culturally relevant multilingual benchmark! The deadline to contribute is August 1 AoE. See more details below.
We listened to your feedback and this year the task will be multimodal: it will be available as a text or a speech-to-text task. We hope this represents real use cases and demands from users that use primarily spoken languages.
You can fill in this form to receive updates on the project and get information about how to get involved: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
This year, the task will be question and answers in the style of ECLeKTic. Contributors are to compose questions that only people from a particular country or region are likely to know and questions should be culture- and language-specific.
Thank you for your interest in the 2026 MRL Shared Task. We are creating a community-led multilingual QA benchmark for text and audio. Please fill out this form so we can contact you with more details...
