A whopping 144 red deer genomes from across their range shows how markers with different modes of inheritance (e.g. the sex chromosomes) capture different signals from isolation in glacial refugia. The X chromosome is a useful marker in this context! academic.oup.com/mbe/article/...
Thrilled to present our project on developing a one health approach to tick and tick-borne diseases through manipulation of reservoir host communities with Katie August today at @ukvbd.bsky.social #UKVBD2024
Our review is finally here! We include all the terrestrial and semi-aquatic mammal-focused #eDNA and #iDNA studies available up to Jan 2025! It's amazing to see how far this field has come 🧬🦦
