I didn't realize that Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) had placed a hold on Marine Corps Col. Thomas Siverts' promotion to brigadier general, while citing my reporting.
Wyden eventually released his hold, and Siverts' promotion was unanimously confirmed after Siverts wrote a letter condemning antisemitism.
