What's a queer book written by one of your writing mutuals that you'd like to recommend?
We had six low-altitude military jet flyovers in ten minutes and it's going to be a while before I can talk the poor dog into coming upstairs rather than hiding in the basement... Ugh. That would have been a lot for the time frame back when I lived right next to an airbase runway... Grumbles.
#QueerWritersChat I try to be a positive and encouraging voice in their replies. And I buy a lot of their books and do my best to review them when my energy and anxiety levels allow it. Even when I can't muster a full review, I try to send social media notes to the authors of books I've enjoyed.

Being either trans- or homophobic in my world is a bit like being phobic of people with brown eyes in ours. But one character from a really weird religion does manage to be transphobic anyway. Gets him punched by someone's grandad with the full approval of the local police chief.
