Our team, led by Anton Vaks, have just put out this rather lovely manuscript in Nature Comms showing that the northern hemisphere was permafrost free during a period when temperatures were ca. 4.5 degrees warmer - similar to runaway climate change. Have a look! www.nature.com/articles/s41...
New study from our fantastic Isoperm team, led by Jade Margerum, summarising decades of monitoring from our Botovskaya cave site in Siberia. @speleoseb.bsky.social @mariabox.bsky.social @olakwiecien3.bsky.social

Afternoon folks. I'm delighted to announce our manuscript "Speleothem evidence for Late Miicene extreme Arctic amplification" was published online today. Happy reading! @speleoseb.bsky.social @thomasopel.bsky.social cp.copernicus.org/articles/21/...
Fantastic first day of the ICDP training course at the KTB Borehole, learning some of the logistics around continental drilling and meeting great minds @icdpdrilling.bsky.social
