I’m all for accessibility in how things are printed. Easier to read fonts, text size options, all good.
But any attempt to standardize writing *style* is anti-creative. Creative writing isn’t about how quickly you absorb it or how easy it is. If it were, Dickens and Faulkner would be banned.

The Other Bennet sister really is an endearing show, if you are looking for a chill, pleasant watch.
One of my favorite fantasy writers is Patricia McKillip, whose prose is so intricate and imagery driven, I often have to sit with a phrase for quite a while. Trying to unpeel it like an unborn rose, as she might say. It’s made me a better writer. There’s value in difficult stylistic choices.
