And now I get to leave work early and listen to the Tigers hopefully not lose for the next hour or so while I navigate home.
Stupid shore traffic.
I'm sorry but Abe Lincoln had it right.
Why are we not doing this?
Picture this: it's week 18.
Every playoff race has been decided, but there's still one thing left to be determined:
Two last place teams meet in prime time with one goal: don't lose because losing means relegation to the UFL.
That's some must-watch tv right there.
Still no apology for Teams, though.
OMG BONUS WORK-FROM-HOME DAYS THIS MONTH BECAUSE THE WORLD CUP IS GONNA MAKE TRAFFIC A NIGHTMARE AND THE GOVERNOR WOULD RATHER SEND US HOME FOR THE DAY!!!

Or at least nobody I've ever met.
Although I am, technically, an apostate, I am willing to exploit the faith I was raised in if it means I can get a religious exemption from using AI.

It's like everything I ever learned in economics is wrong, none of this makes any sense to me.

What if American sports adopted relegation?
Ted Cruz on Talarico: "If you were making a list of 1,000 adjectives to describe this guy, 'masculine' would not be one of them. I mean, if a stiff breeze came by it would blow him over like a feather."

Bill Gates testified that he didn't witness Jeffrey Epstein commit any crimes, but admitted he met with him despite knowledge of the financier's sex crime conviction, a Democrat on the House Oversight Committee said.
CNN: For consumers, if it feels like you can't keep up with these higher prices. It's probably because you can't, right? Inflation is rising faster than wages. Paychecks are just not going as far.
“If the time I spent with Epstein lent him any credibility, I am deeply sorry,” the billionaire wrote in his opening statement to the Oversight Committee.

My first thought was Sidney The Elephant, but then I thought of a bunch of other Terrytoons which might fall in the same category -- The Astronut, The Mighty Heroes, Hashimoto, Hector Heathcote

For a while, before the internet got huge and I could verify my memories without judgment, everyone looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about this show.

I'm sure some folks will remember this one (just like I remember the one I'm quote-posting), but I picked this one specifically because I remember watching it as a young'un in Virginia, but when we moved back to California none of my new friends had heard of it .
