This is a very weird way to talk about a member of your party facing a vindictive government prosecution that fell apart on first contact with a judge...
Musk buying twitter, Bezos buying WaPo, Ellison buying CBS—all are less profitable now. But they’re political investments that increase the value of the new owners’ portfolios Wealth concentration makes this possible, and that’s one mechanism by which inequality destroys democracy

Trying to do this here:
This is a big reason why I would humbly suggest that studies of media in soft authoritarian contexts are increasingly useful for understanding media and politics in nominally democratic contexts in the West...

Penguin Random House India has refused to publish a comic by Joe Sacco on anti-Muslim riots caused by Hindutva leaders' genocidal rhetoric in 2013. The mega publisher would not publish unless the writer modified statements in response to right-wing Hindutva objections.

I wrote a piece a few years ago as a sort of primer that tries to historicize and contextualize the current counterrevolutionary war in Sudan. It’s basic and is meant to give folks who haven’t been following closely a sense of what and why it is happening.

Affirmative control of one's gender is not just a matter of identity however crucial it is. It is a matter of good health and wellbeing, as you should be able to choose the way you age. Puberty IS the main aging mechanism of the body We should be able to control and tune aging to our needs by now.
