#OTD 12 May the UK's 9-day #GeneralStrike1926 came to an end. It was also the day the weekly Salisbury & Winchester Journal published its first daily news bulletin. National newspaper printing & distribution were curtailed by the strike. #newspapers #exploreyourarchives
