Don't get it twisted, I love coming up with stuff for my sandboxes. But it's nice to have a little fun once in a while, too.
Like, there’s a certain joy if not satisfaction that comes with figuring out how to work a character or concept into an established setting without making the character bend everything to it and it alone. Maybe that’s just me still wanting to write for comics, idk.
It's been a week and I still miss Bella. I miss her so much, man.
This is super last minute and I wasn't even gonna do it seeing as I threw away all the prints I had left over from last year (which was a lot), with Marie's V/A being there this year and her being popular, it's a safe bet if nothing else.
A big part of why I like coming up with fan characters for things is because I like exploring certain ideas or areas of canon that otherwise go unused or overlooked. I intentionally make them so the serial numbers can’t be filed off. And it’s a fun mental exercise, too.
fuck, made the mistake of reading the recent Sentry mini-series on /co/ (was randomly reading storytimes to see how comic pages are set up these days) and now I'm sobbing uncontrollably.
