If we don't, then people will have no reason to change and are likely to double down in the future. We have to keep in mind that there's a position open now, and someone else could step into it. How we respond to this will impact if or how that happens. That said, he still has to earn trust back.
I'm seeing a lot of back and forth about how we should feel after Jorge cut ties with the project. My take? This is a very fragile moment. He needs to prove to us he's serious about this, b/c right now I'm skeptical. HOWEVER. I think it's important to give him the chance.

This whole Jorge situation has been extremely disappointing. Not only the news itself, but his personal response to the backlash too. Embarrassing behavior.
