Lately I’ve been scrawling hilariously bad <1min gesture drawings in ballpoint pen as a warmup before drawing.
It probably doesn’t do much for my technical ability, but it desensitizes me to making bad art which lets me be more creative and avoid fatigue from frustration
I think I’m getting better at allowing myself to make bad art
must be a frustrating client
