Opinionated TTRPG enthusiast. Mostly a geek who dabbles in cloud and virtualization tech to satisfy the capitalism beast. He/Him. Trans rights are human rights. Justice for Palestine. Trump sucks.

If raw milk was better, pasteurization wouldn't have stuck. It would have faded like any other useless fad. You're not a pioneer. You're not done clever visionary who has seen through the lies of Big Germ Theory. You're a twit who doesn't know how shit works.
In any rational society, here's how a conversation would go regarding government programs: Politician: This program makes no sense! Cut it! Historian: Here's the history of the issue, providing the rationale for the program. Here are the results. You can't hold office. (Politician removed)
It's particularly amusing to see those patterns while seeing both grognards and perpetual theatre kids lamenting "the state of things," as if what they want is both impossible now to do and also gone away, never to return. "If you don't like the weather here, wait five minutes and it'll change."
One of the odd parts about being an old TTRPGer with an open mind is seeing the cyclical nature of what people want out of their games. Watching the interest rise again in dungeon crawls after a period of, "Out of the dungeon, into the streets!" is proof that everything old is new again.
You're not some* clever visionary. Dang typos.
"Isn't this just nostalgia bait? Who is this even for?!" Umm, for the original fans in part, sure, but... for a potential new generation of people to enjoy? A new audience with similar but perhaps more complex tastes in entertainment? I don't know, the concept didn't seem hard to grasp.
Willful ignorance should be painful to the ignorant, not to everyone else.
At this point, they might as well release the unredacted Epstein files. There's nothing in them that would sway Congressional Republicans or SCOTUS Federalists from protecting Trump.
I hate to ask - but could I get some help paying the real estate taxes for mom's house? I had a $1,200 heating bill that I had come do from winter and it wiped us out. They were due five days ago the taxes and am hoping to avoid a late fee if possible they're $850. linktr.ee/ravenpenny
