We Are All Meat Clocks
#WyrdWednesday Those delicious little custard pastries now widely available originated from 15th Century Convents in Portugal. As the Nuns used egg whites to starch their habits, they had a surplus of yokes & began making 'Conventual Doces' with them. Eventually the recipe was passed on to bakeries.
