Probably not a big deal that so much of the AI revenue comes from extremely one-off things like the company that burned through half a billion dollars of tokens or scammers charging their AI to random Google Maps APIs they scraped from the internet, right?
And that they still aren’t profitable?
Finally, an answer to the question of who will keep paying for AI slop when the true cost of tokens is charged: low life thieves enabled by some truly stupid SOPs that allow them to charge $10k to the credit card of any random Google Maps user with an API key that they have been using for a while.
