Can you help us find ponds like this one? We want to locate a specific type of pond to inform our research on how dogs can impact the quality of ponds. We're looking for ponds in England & Wales that have been split in two, with one half accessible to dogs and one half fenced off to restrict access.
If you are aware of any ponds that fit this description, please e-mail [email protected] with the pond location and any photos you may have. And please share with anyone who may be able to help!
The winners will be notified directly by the Freshwater Habitats Trust account. We will never ask you to click on a link or share payment details.
You can add your sightings on our website ⬇️
Great to see the fantastic work of @freshwaterhabitats.bsky.social and partners recognised here for bringing back freshwater to our landscapes.
Our CEO Jeremy Biggs has been recognised as one of the UK’s most impactful environmental figures in the ENDS Report Power List. 👏
Jeremy is ranked for “…making the case for ponds and small waterbodies as critical sanctuaries for biodiversity, long before this was widely recognised.”
