Vrchat keeps finding ways to segregate people, if you want to play without restrictions now you need to pay 100+ usd a year, scan your face and now hire an artist to optimize your avatars. This was unthinkable a couple years ago.

why does youtube keeps showing only the same thing over and over? it is getting very frustrating, same songs, same games, same creators, nothing new happens anymore, AI algorithm is horrible, also in the case you click on something different it now starts showing you only that thing, its horrible
first interesting procedural world generation i see in kemonogaiden, really hope i can make this game fun
And before anyone complains, i always target my stuff good - medium and when i join big instances i just have shield settings on and manually show people i am interacting with, hide them again when i change group and repeat.
i wrote limiting max avatars but i do mean limiting max avatar rating
If limiting max avatars would give the instance a larger capacity everyone would understand that its a technical limit for the current technology, however the fact that you cant show your friends while privileged users can still use very poor avatars makes this a mechanic around segregation.
