Took a train journey with 3 different rail gauges in 4 hours. Started in Burgos on the standard‑gauge high‑speed line (1,435 mm), then switched onto the Iberian gauge (1,668 mm) as the route left the unfinished Madrid–Bilbao HSL. No train change needed—the wheels adjusted gauge while rolling (1/2)
