I think over time people got so concerned with not portraying stereotypes that they stopped letting black characters be little freaky weirdos. I think we can have a little animated blaxploitation, as a treat.
i guess it's ultimately not up to me to decide if the crows in fritz the cat are offensive caricatures or not, but i do think their designs are really cool
