My TV just did a software update because everything is a computer. This logged me out of all the apps because everything is apps not channels. And it lost my place in the Buffy rewatch. In the bin with modern life.

There's a little village one a short drive away that's been run by the same man forever. I drove there when I was sending my signed books. No fucking way I was giving them to the what's my job again, a 'to 'address, what dat gang. They all arrived. What used to be a given was a little bit of joy.
Our local post office was saved from closure last year but they got rid of the staff and the replacements are so bad they may as well have binned it. Just arrived home to my own amazon return. Last time they nearly lost my parcel because they only put house number and town into the system.
