Amazing woman! She was also a prolific writer; she penned 30 novels and an autobiography, the latter of which can still by purchased today. And she is part of a #ASpecialSisterhood of writers and social changers now and from history who never had children : )
On this day in 1967, writer Dorothy Parker died. She is one of so many writers in #ASpecialSisterhood who never had children. Fun fact: while she never met him, she left her entire estate to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and upon his passing, it transferred to the NAACP.
