In Trump's unaffordable America, imagine how 70 BILLION dollars could have helped bring your costs down. Instead, Republicans want to spend more money on a reckless, already-funded agency that's responsible for the mess at Delaney Hall. Shameful.

Yesterday I voted NO on the Republican's $70 billion handout to ICE.   Just like we saw with the last reconciliation bill, this is Americans getting screwed 2.0.
Every day, nearly 130 people lose their lives to gun violence in our country. This weekend is #WearOrange Weekend, when we honor the victims and survivors of gun violence across America. I still have hope that our nation can end this uniquely American problem, and together we will.
We must never forget the incredible sacrifices made by Allied soldiers, sailors, and airmen on the beaches of Normandy 82 years ago today. I've had the privilege of visiting Normandy, and each time I'm reminded of the brave men who stormed those beaches to defeat Nazi tyranny in Europe.
I'm fighting like hell to reverse President Trump's efforts to strip those workers of their collective bargaining rights, and I'm grateful that the Armed Services committee approved my amendment to the NDAA last night in a bipartisan vote.
Civilian employees break their backs to get America's servicemembers the resources they need to keep us safe.
In their memory, let's recommit ourselves to fighting for freedom, liberty, and justice for all.
My Faster Labor Contracts Act has passed the House! Newly unionized workers shouldn't have to wait years for their first contract. I appreciate my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for coming together to take this enormous step – now let's finish the job:
