My problem with libertarians is that they *always* become enablers of fascism. They don't really want 'freedom', it's hatred of the left. They don't want 'minimal state interference', they want the state to crush the left. And once they're indistinguishable from fascists, how are they any different?
It's not the sexiest of opinions, but as a child of two old-school social democrats, I think the best way to combat authoritarianism, rising prices, bad labor conditions, AI and (yes) racism is revitalizing labor unions. No true democracy can exist without true unions.
