Arrowmanches-les-Bains is one of the many villages along the Normandy Coast where the Allies landed on D-Day, or Le Débarquement in France. As of 2012, much of the town was still intact, making it a popular tourist site for Brits from across the Channel, some of whom landed there on June 6, 1945.

MA recently made state community colleges free to residents. At my local, more than half the Class of 2026 are first-generation college students. GCC Pres. Shuttle told 396 grads, "You are the reason...Massachusetts decided community college should belong to everyone." Many will work toward a BA.
I guess it's back to buying local meat and chicken. It's more $, but at least I know where it comes from. Fie on Trump/RFK's irresponsible actions. We should ALL dump beef from the big meat producers, until they insist on tighter USDA inspections/regulations to win back customers.
