You knowβ¦just to be on the safe side. At least that way I can track her. I'll consider that next paycheck when I go get her a name tag printed.
Seriously? Thatβs way too damn young! Fuck meningitis!
Some better pictures of Artie!
Didn't stop me from trying to interact with him, and despite his injury, he was still super friendly towards me! I bet anything he and Artie would get along just fine if I brought him home. I'm keeping in contact with Metro East Humane Society to make sure when he'll be ready to come home.
Iβm proud of her! Sheβs eating!
I was also looking to adopt this little boy over the weekend with Artie. Only problem with that was he was fresh out of surgery (had a spot on his neck he was scratching at nonstop). Poor little guy was wearing a cone when I saw him.
Looks like Artie's in hiding mode again. I'm not worried, though. She's down here somewhere, but I'm going to let her come out on her own terms. She has to eat, drink, and use the litter box at some point, and she knows where all three are.
Still, think it might be time to invest in an Air Tag.
Still intend on getting her a playmate, as she was very attached to another cat at the cat cafe (said cat also got adopted). Thereβs another cat at the Humane Society that I would love to take in, but heβs recovering from surgery. If I can get him, maybe Artie would feel more comfortable.
And it seems sheβs graduated to my bed at the moment. Still a little fearful about sudden movements, but at least sheβs showing sheβs feeling a little more confident about being here. Slowly but surely.
