Darmok is the best example of not being able to plan a classic. On paper it probably looked insane. I’d bet a lot of the crew thought it would be a filler episode until it was close to done. But there’s something there that just works.

If you think about it, it makes sense. Nintendo is in a better position with the average “gamer” now than when KH1-3 came out and it is a more…I don’t want to say kid focused but maybe kid friendly game? Seems at home for Switch.
Plus Sony probably wanted GoW to be the heaviest hitter.
