Finished my PhD & feeling infinitely grateful. @bstewart.bsky.social told me in my 1st year that the PhD is "a lesson in self-mastery." That it was. What a privilege to have 6 years to discipline my thinking while researching violence in America alongside some of the most brilliant & generous ppl.
