Just finished reading the post-apocalyptic novel “The Long Tomorrow” (1955) by Leigh Brackett. She also wrote screenplays, starting with The Big Sleep (1946), cowritten with William Faulkner and ending with The Empire Strikes Back (1980), cowritten with George Lucas. Who has a career like that?
