It's Le Mans weekend. Legit one of my favourite weekends of the entire year.
I'm comfy on the sofa. Drinks and snacks are in the fridge. Pizza for dinner. And as has been tradition for the last 16 years, I've got @radiolemans.bsky.social guiding me through.

Today is a glorious day.
On this day, we are all the table.
One big problem I've had with making videos again, is how the rooms I used to be able to record voiceovers in are much more echoey now, & would require lots of acoustic panels & such to treat them.
So what to do in the meantime? Make my laundry room into an improvised vocal booth, of course 😅🎙️
Going out to see the @hastingsdiesels.co.uk DEMU this morning at Birkbeck felt like waving off a friend as they embark on an epic voyage, as it headed from Tonbridge in Kent all the way to Edinburgh.
And wouldn't you know, the Thumper made it there right on time. Mighty effort 💪

The GOSH Ness Monster charter by the Branch Line Society got our Hastings DEMU all the way to Edinburgh Waverley from Hastings, on time.
Tickets are still available on the train for tomorrow’s run to Inverness and Aberdeen.
