Federal authorities say 5 people have been arrested in connection with a plot to attack the UFC event on the White House South Lawn.
According to court documents, the alleged plan was to use explosive drones to trigger a mass evacuation, then open fire with snipers as people fled.
Russian attacks on Kiev this Sunday set fire to Pechersk Lavra, the 1,000-year old monastery & UNESCO World Heritage site.
Russia has previously damaged the National Art Museum, the Kharkiv Art Museum, the Kyiv Opera Theater, the Ukrainian House exhibition center and the Chornobyl Museum.
