Haha. American Airlines was just kidding. Tack on another 17 minutes while they find another plane. Why did they not try to find another plane closer to the original 10:10 am departure? Good question.

Another 39 minutes tacked on to delays but a promising update: plane is en route and running late as opposed to the last seven delay announcements about a maintenance issue. I’m testing this lounge’s free alcohol policy while my daughter finishes up her honors thesis due Monday.
