This morning I listened to a "cultural critic" and writer claim that all modern children's literature is horrible, simple, and dumbed down. Reader, I did not take it well. #kidlit
Yesterday I sent a new ms to my agent. It's the first novel-length project I've managed to write since trauma & loss shattered me almost 5 years ago, and honestly, to me it's the clearest evidence my brain and my heart really are healing. I'm verklempt. And I'm so grateful.
