The Erie County Board of Elections reminds voters that the deadline for Absentee and Early Mail ballot requests is this Saturday, June 13.
Requests may be made online at elections.erie.gov/absentee or by mailing a form to 134 W Eagle Street, Buffalo.
Major reforms like ranked-choice voting, a police oversight commission and more could be coming to Buffalo City Hall.
The commission in charge of advancing those measures has a lot to do, but took a key step Monday.

The new lemurs are a family headed by Huey, who is 20 years old. With him are four of his 12 offspring, Conner and Lucas, both of whom are seven years old, and Mikey and Olivia, who are both six years old. All of these lemurs were born at the Philadelphia Zoo.
