I do think its an issue how optimism is often mistaken for nativity when really its one of the most important aspects of hope there is. Being a doomer is mentally draining because it demands you constantly convince yourself how we are all screwed and nothing ever gets better.

I don't care if it is only for storyboards. I don't care if it is only for placeholders. If your project uses gen AI slop at any point in production over actual human artists, then I'm not watching, playing, or buying it.

This feels like the kind of teaser Pixar used to frequently do, just giving us a small taste of the characters doing amusing things. I like it. I also hope this teaser puts an end to people going "oh, a black cat? That's just like Flow!"
