Performing a charity fundraiser at The Granary Arts Café, Nantwich, it's probably the first time I've seen Fyfe in a while, having first seen him at The Scala in King's Cross around the time of Guillemots' debut album.

Just stepped onto the stage at Gullivers in Manchester is the wonderful Eyre Llew. A Welsh-sounding name with a widescreen atmospheric Icelandic sound from a band hailing from Nottingham. Really excited for this one.

In case any Chameleons fans have missed seeing this, Weaveworld finally release their album (written by Andy Clegg, Andy Whitaker, Graham Atkinson & John Lever in 1990 & 1991).

As gigs go, this was about as intimate as they come. Fyfe performed an impromptu extra gig in a coffee shop with a whole range of songs not played at last night's gig. No microphone, no P.A, just his wonderful voice, piano & acoustic.
