At 89, Opal Lee walked more than 1,400 miles from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C., because she believed Juneteenth deserved to be remembered.
She kept walking until America listened.
And as she celebrates her 100th birthday this year, we celebrate her legacy.
