Huge congratulations to Marie Trenchant, a KCL PHD whose essay 'Reassessing Documentary Culture in Monastic Communities: The Case of a Largescale Project of Manuscript Production at Burton Abbey' won a prize from the Pipe Roll Society and will appear in the next issue of Thirteenth Century England.
Third-year doctoral student in the Department of History has been awarded inaugural essay prize.
