Do you make non-fiction comics? This is for YOU! They extended the deadline to June 15th!! Make sure you get your applications in! This is a GREAT show, I've loved tabling at it, the programming is always really terrific, the attendees are so wonderful and it's just a really fun time.
After doing a bunch of shows this spring, I've been really thinking about my next moves with my comics. I think one is starting my own small press, since I'm essentially doing that now anyways and I'd really like to edit and publish an anthology of comics about 2000s web culture.
A lot of designers are worried about Claude pooping out layouts or whatever, instead of the fact there's no reason to have designers if there's no downside to being shitty to customers and workers.
If quality or usability or more efficient processes aren't an advantage, you can just do whatever.
