I read it. The judge vacated department policies which had no legal justification. Hopefully, this dies before it creates problems.
There are many people who work in tech who are in America on visas, and who are not working on software itself and are at risk of being detained.
Yet no one I know working at these companies has been given much protection or guidance beyond “comply with the law”.

Trying to export all my data from GOOG to migrate to a better service requires signing up for Google Cloud, accept new terms, wait 24 hours to get an export and then not be able to download the export without installing and using a command line tool. That's gotta violate a whole bunch of laws. 🫠
