The book is a perfect-bound and RISO-printed play-by-play of the whole event, a little tribute to something (like XOXO itself) that was wonderful while it lasted.
It'd be so easy to attribute this to some sort of COVID-related mania, but all this happened in September 2019. The XOXO Slack was just fertile ground for the sort of joke pile-on that was once the best thing about Twitter.
