Pc update it was the motherboard after all and it also fried the ram I had a back up motherboard on hand and the cpu seems to ok

it's still insane to me that valve never invest in game development outside their little studio. it's straightforwardly good business to start doing dev grants, or at least lower their cut until a dev makes a million bucks or whatever. the industry is falling apart and they wouldn't feel it at all
