3 years ago, I analysed over 150,000 Twitter profiles to look at the use of pronouns, LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity terms in profiles.
I'm thinking about gathering a comparable sample from Bluesky, and re-running the same analysis.

"Policies" were basically a stance on a policy (for higher corporation tax, anti-immigration etc.) and they maintained a list of any votes that related to that policy/stance.
I applied the left/right labels myself, so just looking for somewhere that's grouping votes into simplified policy positions
Of all the data tools I've built over the years, I think the best is the sketchy personal financial planner I built in Google Sheets.
It's saved us a lot of trouble multiple times now (have used it a lot this year!)
Wondering whether to tidy it up and make it available to download somewhere?
Simulating and visualising evolution with #rstats
The model creates a population in the centre of 3 locations, each optimal for the survival rate of one mutation, so we see completely random movement become a migration to home.

I made this chart in 2022 and I'm SO curious to see what it would look like now.
Public Whip stopped maintaining their Policies data in 2022, which is what made the left/right element possible.
Does anyone know of an alternate data source?

Didn't realise my GIFs wouldn't post! :( They're in the README in the link if you wanna see.
Honestly it was worth revisiting just to give this hex sticker another moment to shine.
