I get it, the Mario Galaxy movie was garbage, but I think it’s important to look out for the good instead of continually shitting on the bad.

Congratulations in advance to Julian for winning the brand new Annecy Presents Audience Award at this year's Annecy Festival.
Julian's appearance in the Annecy Presents category akins to Look Back in 2024 and 100 Meters last year: they are WAY too good to end up in the Annecy Presents category.
Given I am heading to this year's Annecy Film Festival in a few days, I had a feeling my top animated movies of 2026 is about to change rather substantially.
Anyway, bring it on, Annecy!
It's not every day I came across a Mexican or Latin American animated movie that is as captivating, unique, and high-quality as I Am Frankelda, a rare diamond in the rough for Mexico and Latin America's animation efforts.
And now that it's on Netflix, I might rewatch this masterpiece again...
Labyrinth turned what should have been an intriguing concept into a confusing, disjointed and sometimes rage-inducing writing of any animated movie. With sloppy animation despite a decent soundtrack, this is a rare GKIDS misfire.
