For me, the most unsettling thing about Marshall's tenure as AG was the borderline bloodlust he had for executions, even for defendants Governor Ivey couldn't bring herself to kill. He always seemed to have a chip on his shoulder--that he needed to prove his conservative bona fides. Good riddance.
