My folding bike has transformed my commute.
I cycle to the station, take the train to Edinburgh, then cycle on to Parliament. Before, I had to leave a bike locked at the station, but now I can simply fold it up and take it with me.
Scotland generates enough wind, wave and solar to power us many times over—so why are bills still so high? Because the system delivers profits for shareholders, not lower bills for communities.
The Scottish Greens are calling for community-owned energy, warmer homes, and local benefit.

At the very least, we need full monitoring of every sewage overflow. But ultimately, we should be working towards ending sewage pollution in our waterways altogether.

This week in Parliament, I asked the Scottish Government if it will strengthen the law to tackle sewage pollution and improve monitoring of sewage overflows.
People deserve to know if the water they’re swimming, paddling, fishing or kayaking in is safe.
Yet sewage has been discharged into Scotland’s waters for hundreds of thousands of hours in recent years. 27 people have reported becoming ill after coming into contact with dirty water in Scotland in the last year alone.
