It's a tough one because from a left-wing perspective, the EU is Kind of Bad, Actually -- it's just that Brexit itself was fuelled primarily by popular objection to its primary good point, freedom of movement. Rejoining the EEA would be easier & arguably better, but would entail allowing that.
