I'm very particular on this point. We can replace all the people in charge much easier than we can replace the associations in the voters minds. This is baggage the future will have to carry. He's shitting where future progressives in Maine will have to eat.

It's kind of dispiriting how much of our political dynamic is driven from essentially inertia and branding exercises. People who vote (R) or (D) cause that's their team. Vibing who is "good on economy/defense/etc" based on memes in spite of recent evidence.
