It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Sue Wagner, former DRI employee, women’s rights advocate, and Nevada’s first woman Lieutenant Governor. Her legacy lives on through the Wagner Award for Women in Atmospheric Science. My heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
I was honored to help recognize Kristin McMillan Porter as a 2025 Woman of Achievement. Kristin is a strategic leader in business and nonprofit sectors, a senior consultant with Porter Group in Washington, DC, and she chairs the board of trustees for the @driscience.bsky.social Foundation.
